Knocked Loose is a metalcore/hardcore band from Oldham County, Kentucky. After forming into their current line up in 2013 the band released 2 EP’s and a full length as well as getting signed to pure noise records in 2016.
HOW THEY SOUND
Knocked Loose burst onto the scene and really changed the game with their sound and vocalist Bryan Garris’ vocals. Their first EP entitled Pop Culture was released to widespread acclaim in 2014 and with their mixture of metalcore/beatdown hardcore sound in their slow and heavy breakdowns mixed with upbeat riffs at times, the band had a lot to bring to the table as far as changing the genre.
In 2015 the band toured quite a bit with numerous bands and making their name known all over. The band also released their second EP which was a split with the band Damaged Goods, the EP itself honed in on the bands unique sound and really made it their own.
The very next year in 2016 the band signed with Pure Noise Records and released their very first LP entitled Laugh Tracks, throughout the next year they promoted the LP on the Vans Warped Tour over the summer. The LP is their hard work of touring and perfecting their sound, the band took to the road in early 2018 on their first major headliner ever with bands like Terror and Jesus Piece. Most recently on their tour with Beartooth as direct support, they’re playing a new song which may indicate a new album may be in the works soon.
